Providence Christian Preschool (PCS) is a dynamic ministry that recognizes the needs that young families have for quality childcare and early childhood education. As a fully licensed preschool with an academic focus, we strive towards the dual goals of providing young children with a strong sense of their worth in a loving environment, as well as to equip students with the academic skills that they need to be successful in the nest steps of their scholastic journey.
Safety is our very first priority at PCS. Our building is locked at all times and parents may gain access through key cards that we provide. Our preschool staff and faculty are trained every year in CPR with additional training in first aid. We maintain daily checklists to insure that our classrooms and playground are safe and in complete compliance with all state regulations. We operate with a comprehensive Incident and Emergency Medical Plan and are prepared to care for your child at all times.
Children may enroll in our program beginning at age two and a half. We offer classes for ages three, four and Transitional Kindergarten (TK). Our TK program has an outstanding reputation in the community. It is a program which seeks to fully prepare students to feel successful in the kindergarten setting, whether they pursue private or public education. The teachers of all age groups partner with parents to learn about and meet the needs of each child. Our staff and faculty have an unparalleled commitment to loving and serving young children.
In addition to providing students with an excellent foundation in early learning, we offer Bible classes and a chapel service each week. Spanish and music classes are offered weekly for all students. For our students in the fours and TK classes, we offer a computer course which is taught in our computer lab. In addition to the computer lab, we also have access to SMART Board technology which will be incorporated into the computer course as well.
