This
is my new favorite verse. It was given to me by one of my favorite
people and it spoke so powerfully to me of the transforming power that
is available to all of us when we are willing to submit to God's
authority in our lives. Transformation is at the heart of what the GEMS
Ministry is all about - transforming the lives of women to become more
like Christ every day, transforming our relationships to be more loving,
transforming our hearts to become servants.
If
you are like me, that all sounds great but is much easier said than
done! Thankfully God gave us our fellow GEMS - Godly Encouraging
Ministering Sisters so that we can "spur one another on toward love and
good works" (Hebrews 10:24). The GEMS Ministry is a place to find
warmth and acceptance, along with a challenge to become the best YOU
there is, the YOU that God wants you to be.
