Hal was born and raised in Old Hickory, TN and attended Lipscomb University and Peabody College in Nashville, where he earned his B.S. and M.A. He met and married Peggy in 1963. Hal and Peggy have two children: Greg and Charlotte. Hal has served as an Elder since 1988 and has been involved with Providence Christian School for many years where Peggy works as a 2nd grade teacher. Hal retired from DuPont after 36 years and now runs his own consulting business. His main work over the years here at PR has been with Benevolence, Counseling and PCS.
