Brad Childers Youth Minister
Growing up in a large church in the Bible belt of Tennessee provided a great environment to learn about God. Forged by my experiences and the people who mentored me, coupled by traveling all over North America and Mexico on High Adventure Excursions, Bible Camps and Mission trips afforded me the opportunity to see the face of Christ. Having received a calling in the eighth grade to do youth ministry, Brad attended Lipscomb University. During his senior year he began to date the love of his life, Margaret Cage (Childers). Upon graduation, he moved to the Providence Road Church of Christ. After Margaret's completion of her degree at Vanderbilt, they were married and enjoyed five years of doing youth ministry together. At which time the Lord saw fit to bless us with the first of four children; Margaret Grace, Charles, Annie Cage and William. Providing experiences for teenagers to see the face of Christ and passionately pursue Him is an obsession of Brad's that has been going on for more than twenty years! Email: bchilders at prcoc.org |
